It's warming up in Seattle (at least for the next few days!), so our blender has been working overtime. This is one of our favorite smoothies that we enjoy on a very regular basis, especially in the warmer months. It's quick, easy, delicious, and our kids love it!

Berry Banana Smoothie Recipe (Serves ~4)

2 large bananas
2 cups vanilla almond milk (or milk of your choice)
2 cups frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup frozen raspberries
1 Tablespoon chia seeds
1 Tablespoon ground flax seeds

Add the milk followed by the rest of the ingredients. Blend on high in a high-powered blender, such as a Vitamix, until smooth and creamy. We recommend organic ingredients whenever possible, especially when purchasing berries.

Please opt for metal straws should you choose to use a straw! We loved using the Squeasy before our kids were comfortable using cups, and they actually still use them at 3 and 5! Smoothies are also great to freeze for healthy summer treats using a simple popsicle mold
