This diffuser blend combines the woodsy and fresh aroma of juniper berry with the sweet and citrusy aromas of grapefruit and bergamot essential oils. It's an uplifting blend that also helps to purify the air and is safe to diffuse around children.
3 drops bergamot essential oil (Citrus bergamia)
3 drops grapefruit essential oil (Citrus paradisi)
2 drops juniper essential oil (Juniperus communis)
Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) is a citrus fruit around the size of an orange, but it is green or yellow depending on its ripeness. The essential oil is obtained via extraction from the rind of the fruit. It has a lovely citrusy aroma that is sweet with a hint of spice. It's a great option for easing the mind and supporting symptoms of depression and anxiety. Avoid using prior to sun exposure (up to 24 hours), unless purchasing a bottle that is rectified (free of bergapten).
Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) essential oil is obtained through distillation or expression from the rind of the fruit. Its aroma is citrusy, sweet, and fresh. This oil is a wonderful selection when sluggish lymph or circulation are present. Its refreshing and uplifting aroma make it ideal for supporting symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression. It is not recommended to exceed 4% for a topical dilution due to its phototoxic nature.
Juniper (Juniperus communis) essential oil is steam distilled from juniper berries. Its aroma can be described as woody, fresh, pine-like, and resinous. Juniper essential oil is a stimulating and cleansing oil that is often used for aches and pains, coughs and colds, and sluggish circulation. It is also an excellent choice when there is lack of motivation or low energy.
